AFL – ACHIEVERS FOR LIFE
Clients with questions or needs should contact their family advocate and continue to check the Duval County Public Schools COVID-19 webpage for updates regarding academics and support.
This service will continue through the use of tele therapy during the pandemic crisis. We offer free and reduced cost mental health counseling and outpatient substance abuse treatment on a sliding fee scale based on your unique financial situation. We also accept many insurances and medicaid.

Call “2-1-1”. This is the number for the United Way of Northeast Florida’s referral line. They will put you in touch with a community organization that has funds or assistance for your unique situation. The best time to call is 8:00 AM Monday mornings. Call repeatedly until you get through.
The Max Block Food Pantry is currently open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1PM-3PM, no appointment necessary. Please check our website for expanded food pantry hours as demand continues to increase.

The Jewish Services department continues to meet the needs of our existing clients. If you are an existing client and have an urgent need, please contact your case manager. For those who live in the Jewish community and are not already a client, but need assistance with a ride, food, or counseling, please contact our Director of Jewish Services, Hilary Rotenberg Bettman, at 904-394-5722
